Senior Security Officer/Security Officer (Security Unit) (Job ID: 1561)

The appointee will be required to assist the Head of Security to supervise the security team consisting of both in-house and out-sourced security staff. The appointee will manage the Security Centre and supervise the security operation. He/She is required to wear uniform, perform shift duty and work irregular hours as well as during typhoon condition and other crisis situation.

Applicants should have at least 5 passes including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A or level 2 if results were obtained from 2007 onwards) and Chinese in the HKCEE; or 5 subjects, including English Language, attaining level 2 or above (or equivalent) and Chinese in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination. The appointee should possess a valid driving license, a valid Security Personnel Permit, professional qualifications in first aid and preferably a qualification in firefighting, and have no criminal records. He/She should have at least 6 years of supervisory experience in security field. Degree holders with good knowledge of local law, management, computer and physical training, or diploma holders with at least 3 years of relevant experience, who have the passion and commitment to develop a career in the security profession may also apply. The ideal candidate should be able to operate modern building and management systems and fire alarm system. Candidates with lower education qualifications but substantial relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Security Officer. Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a physical fitness test and a written test. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
