Job Description

The GM will have the following duties:

• Reporting to the CEO, manage the overall business operation with the objective to maintain / improve efficiency and profitability
• Give advice to and motivate department heads whenever necessary
• Identify new business opportunities within the existing business fundamentals.
• Assist the CEO to explore new business directions and new markets
• Occasional travels required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant should fulfill the following requirements:

• Degree holder or above, preferably MBA 
• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management role
• Experience with retail or wholesale business
• Knowledge in Finance & Accounting a definite asset
• Exposure to business operation in other Asia markets a plus
• Excellent command of written and spoke English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Energetic, mature, well-organized and an excellent team leader

We are a Hong Kong based company established since 1988, holding a group of companies running different businesses including wholesale and retail of household products, premium trading, etc. We are also the sole manufacturer and distributor of Octopus Watches in Hong Kong.

The ever changing business environment had fostered the company's diversification. Under fast expansion, we will continue to maintain and foster our strategic relationship with major chain stores and department stores in Hong Kong, while at the same time expand our own retail network.  Currently we are operating 30 shops across key areas of Hong Kong and the number will continue to grow.  We are also experiencing rapid extension of new product lines consisting international brands and higher end products. The combination of these moves is to stengthen the company’s retail outlets; which represents one of our major developments.
