RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide legal support on legal matters in connection with the business activities of ITB BU and SE Plants
• Draft, review and negotiate various contracts and agreements and develop standard template as requested by the functions and departments supported to ensure corporate policy compliance on contract review policy/process, risk management policy and delegation of authority
• Serve as principal legal advisor for ITB BU and SE Plants on legal matters involving marketing& sales, business model changes, company administration, local partner relationship and cooperation, leasing/relocation, HR & employment matters
• Handle disputes settlement, litigation and arbitration cases arising from ITB BU and SE Plants, advise on the legal aspects of receivables recovery
• Lead M&A, JV, and strategic alliance projects of ITB BU and work in conjunction with corporate M&A counsels in this connection
• Any other responsibilities and/or matters assigned by corporate management and General Counsel of GCN

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree or above in Law, preferably in top tier universities
• Five years of Legal experience in associate and/or legal counsel position with top law firm and/or multinational corporations; PRC Bar qualification
• Other Bar qualification in common law jurisdiction will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with dedication
• Business acumen to ensure close business partnership with internal clients
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills (both externally with customer and internally with other functions)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and to meet various deadlines
• Positive, energetic and down-to-business working attitude
• Good computer skills especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Written & Spoken English & Chinese
• Frequent travel for business purpose
