Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the design and the merchandising teams, create a commercial and innovative range based upon customer requirements and budget.
• Compile comprehensive market research, in order to maximize all product opportunities and challenge the customer’s direction when necessary.
• Preparation of, and participation in, customer’s meetings
• Work closely with the sourcing team to research new materials.
• Conduct of fittings in cooperation with the technical team.
• Sampling follow up from the start to the final stage.
• Translate design directions and concepts into technical drawing (CAD)
• Strong sense of fashion and curiosity.

Requirements:

• Design experience in the lingerie/intimate apparel field, not less than 3 years and supported by a diploma in Fashion Design/Textile & Clothing or related disciplines.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to make sound commercial judgments whilst working autonomously.
• Commercially focused with a good understanding of costs and prices.
• Strong experience in Adobe design packages (Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus.
• Frequent travel in China is required.
