Requirements

• University graduate in Procurement/Purchasing/Textile Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years relevant working experience in global garment supply chain and purchasing environment is preferred
• Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese including Mandarin. Communication in French is a definite advantage
• Effective negotiation, influencing and sourcing skills
• Proactive, dynamic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A team player & adapt to work in multi-culture environment

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure the different samples (material, product, color) are validated with the Global Procurement Manager and send to relevant parties
• Interface with design in France Headquarter and worldwide suppliers/service providers for all validations related to product development
• Monitor the timing of order placement
• Ensure the material contractual commitments are updated for all the parameters during all the validation process and before shipment
• Validate the last sample before production, monitor the production tracking performed by service providers. Alert the Manager/relevant parties when orders are not shipped
• Handle the changes in the quantities and dates by applying penalties in accordance with the company specifications
• Assist the Global Procurement Manager in the fields during his/her travel/absence
