We are now seeking to hire a highly organized and detail oriented Shipping Executive to join our Regional Supply Chain team, with the responsibility of preparing and managing shipments in order to satisfy internal and external business requirements. 

Job Description:

• Monitor and coordinate deliveries / shipments of eyewear, cases and marketing materials by air or sea freight; ensure on time delivery
• Liaise externally with local customs, carriers’ representatives, freights, forwarders, local transporters and internally with in-house teams of supply chain, sales and finance
• Prepare import and customs related documentation
• Handle L/C requirement sheets to clients, check with the bank and customers and issue L/C documents to the bank after shipment
• Request, compare and negotiate quotations from freight forwarders
• Manage and monitor the performance of freight forwarders and transporters
• Ensure all shipping documentation are accurately prepared (bills of loading, airway bills, packing lists, invoices, etc.)
• Report logistic costs to the Regional Supply Chain Manager

Requirements:

• Degree / diploma (or equivalent) in Logistics / Supply chain management / Transport management
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping or freight forwarding, either from trading or logistics companies
• Strong experience in the shipping industry practice and familiar with customs procedures
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Excel
• Fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin would be an advantage
