The Events & Facilities Assistant will provide support, assistance and supervision to those out of school hour facility users or events. Assist with setup, take down, trouble shoot AV and network systems during an event, assist the MS Athletics with court or field set up and greet visiting teams at security on game days where possible.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Qualifications in sports management field and coaching certificates an advantage;
• Relevant experience in sports events or facility management department. Events management experience with a good understanding of Audio Visual and basic computer troubleshooting on projectors (on-the-job training is also provided);
• Interest and knowledge of various sports with an understanding of tournament structure and set up;
• Proficient Cantonese and English speaker with strong verbal communication skills;
• Computer Proficient;
• Strong organisational and time management skills;
• Flexibility to meet varying workloads throughout the year;
• First Aid Training;
• Shift work is required for this position.
