He/she will be reporting directly to the Vice President & General Manager in Hong Kong with the following responsibilities & requirements:

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the US team, the Product manager defines and implements the company’s sourcing strategy across his/her categories
• Identify, source and develop reliable direct sources of supply in the region, including but not limited to the following:

• a)      Directly source regulated items / medical devices (ex. bandages, gauze, tape, gloves) based on product specifications provided by the First Aid team.
  b)      Directly source first aid packaging products (ex. bags, plastic cases, pouches) and other non-regulated kits accessories (ex. flashlights) to support the First Aid Business team.
  c)      Manage the product cost negotiation for all directly sourced items and identify cost savings initiatives

• Monitor day to day operation including supplier management, product development, sample verification, factory audit, payment terms negotiation, on time shipment & quality assurance for all direct and indirectly sourced China products
• Oversee appropriate quality control including local factory and 3^rd party product testing to ensure product standards and overall item regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all regulatory (FDA/CE) protocols are followed within our First Aid supply chain.
• Evaluate vendor performance and optimize the vendor matrix
  

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in a Science or related discipline
• At least 5 years + of experience in Sourcing and Exporting medical supplies
• Experience in Pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage
• Demonstrate the key competencies like strong leadership skills, independent, strong analytical mind, mature, tactful, good interpersonal communications skills, good problem solving skills and good sense of priorities
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Mandarin
• Willingness to travel and work in a global team set up
• Good track record on sourcing, price negotiation, ability to deliver the results
