This incumbent is primarily responsible for providing professional HR support to staff and volunteers of the Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) on overseas humanitarian missions.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquiring quality and committed professionals for overseas humanitarian missions, and support and facilitate their deployment
• Assisting HR Manager (Field Personnel) to develop and maintain a pool of professionals and a HR system that enables fast and appropriate deployment in all situations, especially during emergencies

Requirements

• University Degree Holder in management or social science discipline, relevant qualification in HR management a definite asset
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or volunteer management, preferably in international corporations or non-governmental organizations
• Volunteer experiences and experience of working aboard a definite asset
• Strong language skills in both Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
