Summary:

As a regional Financial and Business Analyst reporting to the CFO of Asia, you are expected to delivery sound financial analysis for the region. You will need to take a leading role to ensure management accounts, and audits of our subsidiaries are carried out according to group instructions and schedules. Last but not lease, you are also required to coordinate with IT department to ensure data in the Management Information System (MIS) is accurate, as well as undertake basic internal audit work to ensure each office have correctly record their figures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end closing, year-end closing, and subsequent audit work (external auditor);
• Review management accounts of each subsidiaries, and generate Consolidated Management Financial Statements to the Directors of the Asia Regions and HQ in Switzerland to highlight Management performances in Asia;
• Provide financial analysis to CFO of Asia for each subsidiaries on audited accounts, as well as cooperate with tax auditor in terms of breakdowns and tax computations;
• Produce commercial MIS reports and KPI analysis to highlight developments in productivity, volumes, profitability, for internal purposes as well as some specific reports to external business partiers;
• Basic internal audit tasks to verify profitability of different subsidiaries to ensure FOB and Freight Charges are correctly recorded;
• Coordinate with IT department to ensure data accuracy of the MIS, as well as engaged in enhancement work like ‘user acceptance testing’  (UAT); and
• Liaise with company secretary for lawful records, ad hoc legal matter, dividend arrangements, and assigned operational tasks like hold shipments to secure receivables;
• Cash statements consolidated report of Asia (every 15 days);
• Overseas Agents Credit control and upload into systems for Asia-wide use.

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent in Economics;
• CPA or audit background preferred;
• Proficient in Excel;
• 3-5 years experiences in international and multi-cultural companies;
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities;
• Fluent verbal and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese); and
• Strong team player, who are willing to work in a dynamic environment.
