Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Operations, the job incumbent would:

• Handle trade settlement duties for Hong Kong equities
• Assist deputy department head to prepare operation manual and workflow for new products
• Participate and assist in cross-departmental projects and/or initiatives
• Prepare the monthly statistics reports to senior management
• Be responsible for trade processing and assist in sending trade confirmation to the clients
• Provide support in handling the IPO application / rights issue / placing processing
• To undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned by deputy department head

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Management, Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in securities and brokerage firms, prior experience in Investment Banking business a definite advantage
• Experience in handling trade settlements for local securities market a must
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; with a fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese
• Conversant with MS Office (in particular Excel and Powerpoint) and Chinese word processing
• Knowledge in I-Asia back office system an advantage
• Able to work independently and proactively with high self-motivation and keen to learn attitude
• Immediately available highly preferred
