Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily checking of investment restrictions and other related checking on the investment of unit trusts
  • Prepare breach report and other regulatory reports
  • Perform regular reconciliations
  • Assist in updating procedures and/or drafting of new procedure to reflect latest regulatory requirements or in house policies
  • Provide support on client enquiries
  • Handle ad hoc projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduate major in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-3 years investment-related experience, preferably in unit trusts or with pension fund industry
  • Understanding of equity, bonds, unit trusts, forward, FX and other investment products
  • Conversant with MPF/ORSO Ordinance and Regulations as well as related guidelines and codes
  • Accurate and meticulous
  • Strong PC skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Macro
  • Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, good initiative, hardworking and willing to work under pressure
  • A team player and able to work independently
