Responsibilities

• Report to Business Solution Architect; maintain the SAP infrastructure, including installation of SAP and database upgrades
• Administer the SAP landscape, maintaining an error free operating environment to comply with predefined SLA
• Assist SAP functional team members with development activities, problems and questions
• Perform configuration transport management, applying OSS Notes, ABAP patching, backup, restore, kernel upgrade, Java patching, batch job management and performance tuning
• Ability to design and modify the SAP Architecture to accommodate changing hardware, software and workload
• Maintain and improve MS/SQL server database environment, including installation, upgrades, performance, security and change management
• Lead technical projects and small teams of external people
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in information system, Computer Science or related discipline
• Possess a minimum of 3 years IT experience in Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server implementation and support plus a minimum of 2 years’ hands on experience on SAP ECC 6.0 and MS SQL server combination, SAP R/3 upgrade, support packages upgrade, Solution Manager, OSS and SAP system monitoring
• Possess at least one full project life cycle in one or more SAP and MS SQL server based projects implementation experience
• Possess MCSE and SAP Basis certification is preferable
• Process fundamental and preferably advanced knowledge and skills in ABAP, BW, Enterprise Portal, Net Weaver, and BO
