Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing strategic global logistics solutions to meet clients’ requirements
• Resourceful in import/export regulations of various merchandise and premium items for global distribution within a short timeframe
• Responsible for supervising and monitoring the daily operation of the Logistics Department, including but not limited to I/E documentation, bills /export declaration, and invoice processing
• Liaise with internal departments / vendors / logistics providers / clients on logistics related issues, such as shipment scheduling and delivery arrangement
• Logistics cost estimation, negotiation and control
• Device standard operation procedures and KPIs for service providers and monitor their compliance and performance

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Transport / Logistics Management or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years relevant working experience with 5 years in managerial capacity, preferably gained in multi-national toy / sundries trading or global marketing agency
• Experience in handling international shipment on various shipping terms including DDP/DAP.
• Well versed and experienced in customs clearance procedure
• In-depth knowledge of I/E regulations of various product categories in different countries
• Able to motivate and influence people at different levels and communicate effectively across functions and regions
• Mature, independent, detail-oriented and with good sense for numbers
• Be proactive and flexible in facing challenges, able to work under pressure
• Strong communication skill with high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Office & Chinese word processing
