JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the ideal candidate shall have strong Hong Kong/Asian wireless systems background and the required experience necessary to proactively drive HK/Asian regional wireless business development & sales opportunities building on the capabilities and relationships of RFE and BAI. The requirements of this position include developing relevant business plans, evaluating opportunities for new sales revenue, preparing back-office customer responses and working closely with the senior RFE management team on all BD activities. Additionally, this position will assist in supporting the company’s ongoing relationships, market position and overall objectives. The position will be based at RFE office in Hong Kong.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support development of business planning and key objectives

• Working with RFE senior management develop a strategy for growth in new business activities in metro, major building complexes and open venue for wireless networks in Hong Kong, Asian cities and in partnership with BAI companies in North America and Australia
• Identify and evaluate customer and market requirements
• Prospect market for relevant opportunities and create plans to convert opportunities to revenue streams
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends and proposals from competition
• Develop sales proposals and respond to customer RFPs/RFIs for potential business
• Negotiate and support contract process and administration
• Maintain ongoing customer relationships as key point of contact

 EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Relevant wireless telecom technical experience preferred or equivalent experience

 RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of business development, sales and/or marketing experience in wireless systems for cellular operators, metro, public safety and/or private networks
• Hong Kong based experience preferred
• Knowledge of applications that can be supported by common wireless infrastructure desirable (e.g. DAS, wireless CCTV, Wi-Fi, M2M, monitoring and control, public safety applications, etc)

 SKILLS (TECHNICAL & GENERAL)

• Familiarity with RF/Cellular/Wi-Fi/Fiber communication systems
• Proven ability to set and achieve revenue targets
• Strong interpersonal and client facing skills
• Efficient use of Microsoft Office products
• Strong presentation creation and delivery skills
• Familiarity with contracts, structure, elements, process
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Preferred experience responding to RFPs, preparing proposals
