Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage monthly forecast and drive accuracy improvements in line with agreed targets. Keep track assumptions and rationale behind and perform analysis to identify gap; Validate the demand plan and make sure it is constrained correctly.
  • Provide information back to the rest of the supply chain of why there are changes to the demand plan along with reasons why the forecast was not accurate.
  • Provide analytical support highlighting changes of demand plan, forecast accuracy / trends so to identify inventory impact to business.
  • Plan and forecast for future merchandise buys based on company’s predefined KPIs; Partner with customer service / procurement / production team to monitor the implementation of supply plan and raise demand / supply disconnects.
  • Prepare weekly / monthly reports, provide action plans and rise flags; share assumptions and analysis, risks and opportunities, challenges and sales performance review with management team.
  • Partner with product / sales team and periodically review product life cycle, product mix, style / lot / SKU efficiency, inventory fill rate, slow moving items or potential dead stock and provide actionable solution plans and root cause analysis.
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP process that incorporates input from various departments; ensure updated demand / supply information is available and correctly reflected / maintained in different S&OP and supply / demand tools and make sure S&OP process is delivering the right value for the organization.

 

Requirements:

  • University Graduate preferable in the Supply Chain Management, Product Management or relative discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of practical working experience in forecasting and inventory planning, preferably in multi-national company related to fashion industry.
  • Solid work experience in retail business and S&OP is highly preferred.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Mature thinking, energetic, systematic, attention to details, well organized and able to work under pressure
  • Hard working and take initiative toward problems and willing to take new challenges
  • Proficient in MS Office especially in MS Excel & PowerPoint; Practical experience in SAP is definitely an advantage
