Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work closely with fashion designers and retail sales operation to formulate seasonal merchandising strategy and proposal.
Benchmarking against competitors and review internal product line, identify sales gap to advise alternative recommendations to designers to generate the best sales and gross margin for products purchased for the season.
Providing on-going analysis from own retail and industry data leading to development of retail buying plan.
On-going monitoring of product sales performance , stock allocation and stock consolidation, plus inventory levels

Requirements:

University graduate in fashion retailing, business administration or related disciplines.
At least 5 years solid experience in fashion retail buying.
Strong analytical skills , business acumen and numerical sense
Good understanding of fashion retail market, with passion working in the fashion retailing industry.
Methodical problem solving skills based on factual interpretation of data
Excellent people and communication skills
