Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of key account/franchise plan to achieve revenue, profitability, inventory and receivables targets
  • Open new accounts and/or new channels/doors per company’s direction
  • Gathers and analyses data on consumers, retailers and competitors and use the analysis as inputs for monthly sales forecast and for identifying new accounts/ new business opportunities
  • Conducts regular (weekly/monthly) sales visitation to secure orders, ensure our brand presentation according to prescribed standards, track sell through (wherever possible) and ensure appropriate inventory mix and level at trade
  • Control trade discount & wholesale expenses to meet with company’s requirements
  • Assist manager to organize seasonal trade shows, building sales or any kinds of promotional activities
  • For each major sell-in season (trade show), prepares product assortment plan integrating with the appropriate VM/in-store marketing support to achieve maximum sell-in results with customers
  • Tracks product performance at franchise stores, wholesale customers’ doors and initiates action planning to capture additional sales opportunity for fast moving products and minimize inventory through timely clearance of slow moving products
  • Work with manager to initiate customer oriented proposal with analysis to drive sell-thru and replenishment; closely work with franchises to push sell-through & topline
  • Work with manager to oversee the sales discipline between different distribution channels, control wholesale partners’ pricing & promotion, maintain and shorten the DSO
  • Work with Retail team and Marketing team to initiate or align promotion, marketing event, GWP to drive sell-thru and enhance stores/doors performance
  • Be operational responsible for wholesale distribution – systems, logistic, staffing and training (including product, visual and service)
  • Monitor sales performance and competitor development
  • Collects receivables on a timely basis
  • Maintain mutually beneficial and profitable relationship with trade partners
  • Ensure all the backend operations to be line with company’s compliance
  • Prepare and compile weekly/monthly account performance tracking reports and forecast reports
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant streams
  • Minimum 5 years experience in wholesale areas
  • Extensive knowledge of the Hong Kong market
  • Good connection in local market
  • Good command of English
  • Computer literacy & proficiency in excel
  • Aggressive in hitting objectives set out by company
  • Proactive; well organized, sensitive to figures, open-minded combined with analytical mindset
  • A mature person who is able to take care of assigned accounts independently
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment combined with a drive to bring innovative ideas, best practices
