Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
2. 5 years experience in Oracle Database Administration on different platform and shell script (AIX/Linux/Solaris)
3. Experience in Oracle eBS installation, configuration, rapid cloning, maintenance (e.g. Applying Patches, Backup/Restore)
4. Solid experience on 11i and R12 production system/database administration and configuration
5. Understanding of code promotion, version control, and QA procedures
6. Ability to estimate projects/tasks accurately and meet agreed upon deadlines
7. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
8. Oracle EBS shared application tier, parallel concurrent processing and failover
9. SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning
10. Oracle certification an advantage
11. Oracle SSO configuration an advantage
12. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Technical Consultant

Job Duties:

1. Plan architect and size database configuration in accordance requirements
2. Perform application server and database installation, tuning, backup / recovery, and performance monitoring
3. Maintain the development, test, and production multi-tier environments
4. Plan and perform upgrades, migrations and patch management as recommended by vendor or by team
5. Conduct design and testing of backup / recovery and disaster recovery solutions
6. Conduct Technical Training with appropriate documentations                  
7. Build tools and scripts that enable automation of tasks
8. Review technical solutions developed by other team members
9. Mentor and train the other team members in the area of own expertise
