Job Description
Overview
Fusion Systems is seeking Retail IT Specialists to join our team. Positions can be full-time or contract based.
Duties
- Responsible for handling client interface with multi-national retail chains
- Project management and implementation for new store build-out to include
- Planning, running and testing of structured cabling
- Provision of broadband internet and telephone service
- PBX programming
- Equipment rack installation, setup
- Networking equipment setup and configuration
- POS installation
- In-store PC, Printer and networking device setup and installation
- Designing layout of cabling and network based on supplied CAD drawings
- Designing WiFi coverage for in-store networks
- Designing CCTV camera layout for loss prevention, audit and survey requirements as needed
- Ongoing break/fix support and resolution of IT related issues
Requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good command of written and spoken in English, Cantonese – Mandarin a plus
- Customer focused attitude and dedicated to problem solving
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Experience managing structured cabling and PBX installations
- Good network and telephony knowledge
- Good team player, self-motivated, good communication skills and hard-working
- Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently
