Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Hong Kong Laboratory Manager the appointee will have operational responsibility for the food laboratory, as well as a leadership role in business development and client management.  The duties will include;

• Daily operational responsibility for the laboratory to meet and exceed client expectations for service.
• Management of staff in the food laboratory.
• Manage the laboratory to meet budgeted financial performance.
• Ensure the laboratory is managed in compliance with ALS quality and OHS&E requirements.
• Lead the business development activities associated with this market sector.
• Provide technical expertise to assist clients for their analytical and data interpretation requirements.

Suitable candidates will require;

• Tertiary science qualifications in Food Science or related discipline.
• Have a minimum of 5-7 years experience in food related testing industry. Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
