Responsibilities:

Contract to a government department to perform the following:

• Conduct feasibility studies, market research, solicit system requirements and features with users and relevant working parties and consolidation until agreements are reached and project commenced, conduct project review with user as required;
• Provide cost estimation, prepare project estimations until funds are approved, conduct fund control and periodic reporting;
• Write tender specifications and conduct tender assessment and contract procurement process;
• On site supervision of project progress, deliverables & acceptance, risks analysis, report periodically to project management teams.

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 5 years of IT working experience;
• Minimum 1 year experience as System Analyst or similar capacity;
• Project handling experience in dimensioning, traffic studies, designing or implementing Information Communications Technologies (ICT) systems under public telecom projects, railway operator projects or sustantial government projects are a definite advantage towards successful contract
• With relevant experience at any one of the ICTprojects are necessary:
1. Audio/video systems, voice logger systems, video recording & archive systems;
2. Real-time control systems;
3. Command and Control Centre System;
4. WLAN systems which may comprise of wireless hubs, switches, routers, servers, databases;
5. Police Data Network (PDN) or government data networks or similar sized enterprise data networks; and
6. Government Wi-Fi network.
