Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep customers updated industry information and market trends
  • Pursue and receive all product specifications from customers and liaise with factories to follow up all processes.
  • Supervise a small merchandising team and follow up all aspects of customers’ product independently particularly in product sourcing and development stage
  • Ensure all prototypes and salesmen samples, production samples as well as shipment samples are delivered on time and in accordance with the requirements from the customers
  • Prepare Purchase Orders / Sales Contracts to factories accurately and without delay
  • Negotiate the best price with customers, sourcing agents and factories
  • Liaise closely with QC / QA related to quality issue from all development samples to bulk productions and to ensure the goods should be correctly, completely, meeting quality standard and delivery on time as requested from customers
  • Assist the Merchandising Manager to achieve the sales target
  • Work closely to other team members within the company / group

 Requirements

  • University graduate or equivalent
  • 8 years+ solid experience in merchandising field in which 3 years' managerial/supervisory experience in FASHION HANDBAG & ACCESSORIES from medium to high-end product value is a MUST
  • Strong at SOURCING & DEVELOPMENT is a MUST
  • Experience in handling different fashionable handbag labels and customer bases would be highly appreciated
  • Good sense on fashion design and with concept of tooling manufacturing
  • Hard working, well organized, proactive, team and result-oriented, flexible and be capable to follow up client’s requirements independently and effectively
  • Good command in both written and oral English and Mandarin
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using MS office, Outlook and internet
  • Require traveling to PRC and overseas occasionally
