Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects required to support new and existing products including Engineering Changes Request and leading Reduction of Cost projects
• Make design recommendations for materials, manufacturing methods and component selections
• Provide input into the creation/modification of Product Specifications
• Set up challengeable, achievable project CPA and manage the projects proactively to ensure on time delivery with pre-set acceptance criteria
• Technical review at every milestone to ensure correct input for next step
• Arrange and monitor the testing to ensure reliable test results
• Create Product Acceptance Criteria and/or testing plan

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years engineering experience with strong mechanical background, product design experience preferred
• Good command of 2D and 3D design software, i.e. Auto CAD, Solid works, Pro E, UG, or similar
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and how to apply them
• Knowledge of Quality procedures and standards such as DFMEA, PFMEA, ISO, etc.
• Knowledge of DFM & DFA with respect to ease of manufacture and assembly
• Knowledge of value and functional analysis technics
• Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills 
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Flexible to business travel
