Our client is an International brand famous for their denim and leather washing design. They are currently looking for a Senior Denim Designer to join their team. Report to Design & Development Manager, you will be responsbile for a full specturm of research & development of denim category from fabric sourcing, new washes development and finishing. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years expereince specializes in denim design. Fluent in English and Mandarin and has a good send of fashion trend. Candidates coming from retail branded and dyeing factory welcomed.

Your role:

• Handle of the garment dyeing and washing activities.
• Manage junior associates and advise solution in case of difficulty occurred.
• Work with in house designer in product development affair.
• Communicate and advising design & development team on washing issues.
• Develop new wash effect.
• Proceed evaluation of laundry.
• Make color/shade band approval of washing sample.
• Advis solution of problem to the laundry and dye house.

REQUIRMENTS

University graduate in related disciplines

• Minimum 8 years of experience in design and product development of denim
• Experience in managing people and leading change
• Strong awareness of denim/fashion industry and is able to translate trends into relevant product ideas for the Bran
• Strong fabric and finishing knowledge to guide the team throughout the sign off
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
