Job Description

Responsibilities

This is a key role leading the people responsible for the electronic systems that support both the teaching and learning and administrative processes within the school, and from ESF Centre.

Main duties include, but are not limited to
• Leading a dynamic and creative team to provide the best ICT solutions for supporting student learning
• Supporting all ICT positions and developing a skill base to ensure succession and sustainability including documentation of all systems and processes
• Ensuring a sustainable, industry standard back up and upgrade plan for the network and supporting infrastructure
• Local implementation and deployment of the Gateway system and all technical aspects of its use within the College and the use of Maze within the College and ensuring data integrity is maintained
• Developing and maintaining solutions and processes for Assessment Recording and Reporting (ARR) systems
• Oversees data integration between MAZE/Gateway and Moodle
• Supporting the team in coordinating all data needs in relation to external systems e.g. examinations, standardized assessment e.g. IBO, InCAS and PIPS

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor in Information Technology or other relevant subjects
• Experience of setting up, managing and developing old and new systems.
• Experience of working in a secondary school is desirable including in the development of timetables and associated systems.
• Experience in supervising an ICT support team in order to provide good service to users.
• Experience in creating customized solutions and applications for Data Tracking and management web and app programming
