Main Responsibilities:

To handle EU complete Chemical requirement for luminary products e.g. RoHS, PAH, Phthalates, REACH directives.

Coordinate with test laboratories for updates and consultation. Follow up and inform internal departments / external suppliers the latest updates on various chemical requirements from EU commission.

Responsible testing application to any accredited EU safety test house (Chemical, RoHS, PAH, Phthalates, REACH...etc.).

Full understanding on chemical testing and inform the supplier the only needed testing based on stated on directives/standards.

Responsible for collecting and checking the supplier’s approved certificate report in compliance to the directives and prepares submission for the needed testing.

Responsible to collect / verify / evaluate components to group parts from test samples for cost efficiency before official testing submission to test houses.

Responsible for mass production release according to chemical test result to suppliers for strictly follow on mass merchandise.

Responsible on keeping Quality Assurance database up-to-date for Chemical matters.

Responsible on answering on all inquiries related to Chemical matters internally and externally.

Ability to answers, explanation & justification internally and externally in cases of inquiries relate to compliance for each project.

Tracking suppliers’ social responsibility (e.g. BSCI) status and maintain latest information.

Personal requirements / Qualifications:

Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Chemistry or related disciplines

Minimum 3 years’ experience in chemical testing or chemistry related industry is an advantage

Have good analytical thinking, Proactive and able to define & set-up processes;

Hardworking, self-motivated, good communication skills.

Proficiency in English (Oral & Written); fluent in (Oral & Written) Cantonese / Mandarin

Proficiency in MS office and a good team player

Able to work independent and under pressure and must be flexible (can do multi-tasks job)

Willing to work on extended time

Must be willing to travel
