Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the café staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet all sales targets and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Develop all necessary procedures and processes to ensure that the sales force operates efficiently and effectively and achieves all sales objectives and service standards.  
  • Arrange café staff roster and to ensure sufficient manpower on shop floor.
  • Monitor the performance of café staff and take remedial action so as to improve team’s performance.
  • Look after sales turnover so as to meet sales targets.
  • Ensure the brand image is represented according to corporate standard.
  • Monitor the inventory level and product performance for the store and make sure the stock level can meet the store requirements and initiate action plan to generate additional sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of stock take result and day-end closing.
  • Ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of the store and all visual display should be in line with the brand’s requirements
  • Handle customers’ complaints in a professional manner and according to the brand’s required procedure and standard
  • Give appropriate suggestions and feedback to the Brand Manager for continuous improvements in customer services and complaint handling.
  • Ensure café staff’s grooming and image is conveying a professional and luxury image of the brand and is adhering to the company’s guidelines.  
  • Report and propose corrective measures to the Brand Manager in case of any breach of the guidelines.
  • Monitor and control the store operations expenses and ensure that they are in line with the Company’s and the brand’s requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationship with customers to ensure that the brand(s)’ maximum sales potential is realized in the area
  • Communicate the training needs of the café staff to the Training team and assist in the training implementation.

Other Requirements:

  • Significant experience in F&B industry.
  • Forward thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate the team effectively for positive team spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizing skills
