Job Description

Reports to:      Asia Merchandising Planner

Location:         Hong Kong

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will manage all logistics functions, including shipping & goods receiving, warehouse and inventory operations, as well as handling all import/export regulatory compliance. The role is also responsible for order management & processing for Hong Kong and other subsidiaries in the region.

  • Process and handle purchase orders placement, processing & consolidation, then follow up on order confirmation & status update as well as to monitor and update shipment scheduling on a regular basis
  • Handle all shipping (inbound/outbound) & goods receiving, warehouse and inventory operations as well as to handle all import and export declaration matters
  • Liaise with Headquarter or sometimes factories on a weekly basis regarding order handover dates / ETD / ETA / FOB terms & dates in order to provide timely information of shipment scheduling
  • Communicate with appointed freight forwarder/shipping agents to coordinate & consolidate cargos delivery schedule and documentations
  • Communicate regularly with internal Sales Team to flag any delivery delay or over-/short-shipped or quality issues.
  • Work with warehouse and finance team on goods receiving & inventory operations to ensure smooth execution and accurate information
  • Control and monitor stock movement in warehouse and shops
  • Monitor stock reconciliation in warehouse and shops on a monthly basis
  • Handle Ad hoc tasks and projections as when required.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Non-Degree tertiary or above
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in shipment / planning / purchasing in sourcing house or buying office (Form 7 graduate with more working experience will also be considered.)
  • Familiar with handling full set shipping documentation, L/C and bank documents and import/export declaration
  • Positive attitude with strong problem solving/analytical, organization, communication & time management skills
  • Good team player with ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Proficiency in using Excel and MS Office
  • Good command in both written and spoken English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
