COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) offering full-time Associate Degree Programme and Undergraduate Degree Programmes at both the HKBU Kowloon Tong and Shatin Shek Mun campuses.  The CIE, managed by the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the seven Faculties/Schools of HKBU, currently enrolls about 5,000 students, and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage.  English is used as the medium of instruction at the College.  Applications are now invited for the following position:

The appointee will be responsible for design and production of offline and online promotional materials.  He/She will provide support in the image building projects of the College, and supervise the design and on-site decoration of events.  Experience in output and print production is essential.  He/She will also assist in web and mobile application development, as well as shooting of promotion photos.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline with at least five years of relevant work experience.  Those with less work experience or lower qualifications will be considered for the post of Assistant Design and Production Officer.  Competence in using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Freehand is essential with knowledge in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Dreamweaver and Flash.  Applicants must be able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills. 

Appointee will be required to serve at either/both the Shatin Shek Mun and/or Kowloon Tong campuses.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a skill test.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
