Since 2001, victionary's projects have transcended from its initial focus in graphic design to a broad range of creative disciplines encompassing advertising, fashion, architecture, handicrafts and lifestyle. Its impact on the design scene is visible worldwide.

Working closely with designers and project coordinators, the editorial team is responsible for topic research, sourcing, editorial development and key communications for the publishing and promotion of victionary books both online and offline. Assistant Editor will proactively report to the Creative Director and Editor and assist on general editorial and production duties.

Responsibilities:

• Write, translate, edit and proofread editorial content and press release 
• Correspond with local and overseas counterparts and designers to ensure collaborative projects can be published on schedule
• Source design works and propose feasible topics for publishing

Requirements / Qualifications:

• University degree
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in news and feature writing for English design or lifestyle publications
• Passion for design and awareness of creative and publishing trends
• Practical experience in the International connection with the creative industry is an advantage
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese is an absolute must, proficiency in Japanese is a plus 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly, accurately and independently
• Based and eligible to work in Hong Kong
