Responsibilities

This position is primarily responsible for providing the local expertise and support of fixed assets & management accounting, monitoring and tracking the financial control and compliance. The Senior Accountant is expected to work closely with center of excellent, outsource team and Financial Controller to work through the financial close process to produce financial statements in accordance with the policies and procedures, US and HK accounting standard. Activities include, but not limited to:

• Supervise the business in the procurement to pay processes and record to report and also ensure the compliance of purchasing policies
• Manage the expenses reports compliance
• Participate as Monitoring and Tracking Team Member in compliance auditing across different business functions
• Manage the financial close process
• In charge of Fixed Assets accounting process and Intercompany billing charges
• Responsible for regular review / adhoc reports / queries from different center of excellent – Tax, Treasury, Financial Services Centre, Purchasing and external stakeholder - Tax Authority / External Auditors

• Microsoft Office - intermediate to advanced level,

• Business Process, Corporate Policy (compliance & completeness)
  • High level accounting.
  • Professional understanding of internal controls including SOX.
  • Intermediate of Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus CPA
  • 8 years of accounting experience (at least 3 years of management accounting experience & multinational company experience preferred)
  • Experience with SAP (a plus)
  • Knowledge of local GAAP, internal controls, SOX and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and independently,
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual – English/Mandarin
