Job Description

Research &Survey Division
Master Pay Scale Point 15-27 ($24,450 - $43,120)
3-year probationary contract

Candidates should have:

  1. A recognized university degree or equivalent in Economics, Banking, Finance, Financial Services, Wealth Management, or a related field;
  2. Strong background in research methodologies and practical experiences in research and survey, data collection, data compilation and analyses;
  3. Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification working experience;
  4. Proficiency in writing English and Chinese research reports.


Main duties include:

  1. To plan, organize and conduct research, including survey projects, relating to products and services, quality of services and consumer opinion, mainly on Banking and Finance issues;
  2. To liaise with product suppliers and service providers, government departments, trade associations and professional bodies in regard to survey and research projects;
  3. To write paper and research reports in both English and Chinese and articles for the Council's website and "CHOICE” magazine.


Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits:

Appointment will be offered on 3-year probationary contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF.
