Job functions:

• Lead and drive for continuous improvement of production performance in terms of productivity, quality, cost and safety;
• Establish and lead the IE team to achieve the department goals and objectives that align with company goals;
• Lead the CNC workshop and Mold workshop in order to ensure Project development schedule are on time.
• Also lead a team of engine team to work for the support on Production Capacity improvement. (Machinery, Fixture, workshop layout etc.)
• Identify improvement opportunities in all production process and drive for the results through the application of Lean & Six Sigma methodologies or other best practices;
• Review production process, operations and workflow on a regular basis,  initiate proposal and drive for improvement;
• Define production standards by using scientific methodologies includes KPI, analysis of cost effectiveness and efficiency process flow study, time and motion study etc.;
• Review technical skills versus industrial standards and drive for improvement;
• To be the owner from pilot run through mass production, to ensure the efficiency, quality are in order;
• Lead problem solving process in all production stages;
• Provide training and coaching to production leaders for professional set up of assembling line and best practice in production process;
• Identify barriers in NPI, and to resolve the potential problem upfront;
• Provide professional advice in production engineering and production process;
• Perform all ad hoc assignment by management.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or relevant engineering discipline;
• minimum 5-8 years relevant experience in manufacturing sector, with minimum 2 years in managerial position and with solid experience in Continuous Improvement in Production Process Program PIE, IE, PE, and ME related;
• Hands on experience in assembly line set up, workspace layout, facilities and equipment, production performance study and analysis;
• Solid experience in Lean Manufacturing Management, or related Continuous Improvement / Manufacturing Process Change management is an advantage;
• Experience in Toys product and plastics/ Metal Industry is an advantage;
• Strong leadership, influencing, time management, change management and project management skills;
• Result-oriented, teamwork, good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin);
• Station in Dongguan plant.
