• Degree holder
• Professional certifications such as RHCE, MCSE, CCNA
• Excellent English, native Cantonese (English speaking office with expat boss)
• Enthusiasm for Linux and Opensource technologies. 
• Fedora/RedHat/CentOS experience essential. 
• Working knowledge of kanban or agile methodologies. 
• Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows server and desktops. 
• Experience with databases on Linux such as MySQL or Postgres. 
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, ideally including Multicast. Must be happy with tcpdump/wireshark. Configuration management systems, for example; Puppet, Chef. 
• Knowledge of open source monitoring systems (e.g. Nagios, OpenNMS). 
• Ability to script in Bash required and ideally one of Python or Ruby.
• Ability to understand business requirements and implement systems to these requirements.
• Approachable and keen to work with all staff within the business to ensure the company is running smoothly. 

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the head office they will be providing support for multiple financial exchanges and office environments
• Puppet development and maintenance and packaging of software for deployment.
• Monitoring systems to pro actively prevent issues arising.
• Supporting client facing and internal office infrastructure with a variety of OS's and software. designing and building of data centers to exacting requirements.
• Responding to internal ticket requests.
• Basic Networking skills with an understanding of routing.
