• Install and support software running on distributed platforms especially on Linux / UNIX
• Liaise with vendors and other internal infrastructure teams to deliver solutions and troubleshoot problems for customers
• Provide timely troubleshooting on products supported and manage incidents following the corporate incident management standard.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Write and update support documentations.
• Provide advice to architects on the design of supported products to delivery solutions.
• Perform performance tuning to supported products, especially on operating systems, databases, and web products.
• Remediate risks on supported products and support risk related events like audit and BCP.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of working experience on Oracle database support.
• At least 4 years of working experience on Linux system administration.
• Experience on middleware products like Websphere, Tomcat, Apache, Websphere Portal, Oracle Web Center Portal, or MQ preferred.
• Experience on other database products like Sybase, Ingres, MS SQL Server preferred.
• Experience on other system platforms including Solaris, AIX and MS Windows Server preferred.
• Familiar with ITIL processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology related discipline.
• Independent and good interpersonal skill.
• Good communication skill with both written and spoken English, Putonghua would be added advantage.
