Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic General Manager – Learning & Development to help us grow. Reporting to the Group HR Director, this dynamic individual is confident with delivering a wide range of training courses to all levels improve performance, meet expected standards, and deliver greater guest satisfaction, and facilitate the business in meeting its objectives.

 

You will set standards across the company, and introduce and maintain standard operating procedure manuals. These will be fully communicated and from which on/off job training will be delivered. You will train and develop our happy shiny team members to meet expected standards.  Experience in a previous role of this nature is essential.  Candidates of lesser experience may be considered for Manager or Assistant Manager role.

 

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in related discipline
  • Holder of other professional training qualifications is definitely advantageous
  • At least 7 years’ experience in similar, candidates of lesser experience may be considered for Manager or Assistant Manager role
  • From a hospitality background and be currently working in a similar role in a Luxury International hotel group is highly desired
  • Experience within a Training or Learning and Development role and has experience in delivering to a range of abilities
  • Excellent communication in both written and spoken English, Cantonese
  • Passionate and enthusiastic and enjoy working with all levels of employee
  • Experienced in coaching and development of learning programmes up to Hotel Manager (site) level is preferred
  • Ambitious, with strong emotional intelligence
  • Proven track record in portraying excellent customer service, team building, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
