You will be responsible for the business reporting and analyze for all business units in the Affiliate. You will assist with annual budgeting and forecasting as well as identifying key financial drivers within the business. Part of your duties will be to design and implement continuous development and improvement in operational processes and control environment.

Utilising your strong analytical skills, you will provide timely variance analysis to increase business efficiency and profitability.

Planning Support

Provide support to Financial Controller in Financial Plan, Update, LRP and LBE preparation

Commercial :

1. Participate actively in business operations. Establish a close working relationship with Commercial and other functions.
2. Coordinate with Marketing/Supply Chain/Regulatory/HR/IT/Medical for required inputs
3. Evaluate plan standard cost assumptions
4. Expenses projection
5. Product P/L allocation
6. Margin Analysis

 Entity planning support -

1. Support entity planning process in collaboration with other functions
2. Provide common expenses projection (e.g. Treasury, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, other entity support charges etc) required by different divisions

 Reporting and Financial Analysis

 a. Provide monthly operating expenses analysis

 b. Compile financial analysis reports including Finance Dashboard

 c. Spending analysis and control

 d. Costing analysis

e. Inventory Reserve Analysis

f. Other ad hoc financial projections and analysis

Data Support

1. Provide necessary financial data for Business Excellent requirements.

2. Verification of Sales Incentive target and achievement

3. Other financial data request from Region / Area or user departments

Financial System Maintenance and User Support

 1. Data warehousing

2. GSAM

3. HQPS

4. HQMR

5. ABPM

6. CCI/HFM

8. Other financial planning modules

9. As expert user on common application software (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint) to support other users

Internal Control and Compliance

1. Participate as Monitoring and Tracking Team Member in compliance auditing across different business functions and divisions

2.  Assist to Financial Controller to conduct continuous improvement projects related to operational areas and other ad hoc assignments on an as and when required basis

Requirements

• Degree in accounting or finance;
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, financial reporting and process improvement with sizeable MNC;
• Knowledge of healthcare is a definite advantage;
• Advance excel user with good hands on experience in various advance functions;
• A self-motivated and well organized project player who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities;
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
