Responsibilities :

• Contract & price negotiation and formation.
• Achieve best cost & quality and price performance ratio.
• Establish & retain a good relationship with suppliers.
• Manage the assigned sourcing programs from the enquiry stage up to order placement stage.
• Handle purchase requests from supplier selection, evaluation up to qualification.
• Ongoing projects review and development.
• Prepare periodic sourcing analytical reports as required.
• Technical project development and management.
• Supervise handling of sampling, purchase orders and enquiries.

Requirements :

• University degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3-5 years solid experiences on sourcing from the Suppliers in Asia Pacific, preferably having experiences on serving the retail and/or merchandizing industry.
• Good sourcing & commodity knowledge on some of the commodities including textile, plastic, metal industries especially the metal shelving business.
• Asia market awareness, especially China.
• Export & Logistic experience.
• Sound project management experiences from Sourcing up to Order Placement.
• Proper mindset and training on Quality Engineering.
• Proactive, Self-Disciplined and Flexible towards new customer requirements
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese. (German is an advantage).
• Reasonable business travel within Asia, mainly China is required.
