Office at Ap Lei Chau and working mainly in Hong Kong Island.  Responsible for one or more items of the following jobs:

• Administration of a number of civil contracts.
• Supervising civil contractors to carry out trenching and cable laying work and/or operational and maintenance work on underground electricity cables.
• Coordination of road work matters among utility undertakings, government departments and other stakeholders.
• Supervising a team of trench patrollers and designing safe working method with external road work contractors to prevent cable damage.  Arrange meetings with third parties for excavation work near cables.  Assist in promotion of cable damage prevention and/or asset management of underground electricity cables and accessories.

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher Diploma/Higher Certificate in Civil/Structural/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years working experience with at least 2 years experience on the supervision of construction works/projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of valid driving licence (Class 1) and green card.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Physically fit for outdoor work.

Remuneration:

• Employment on contract basis with gratuity.  Contract would be renewed for satisfactory performance.
• Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
