• Lead and support engineering department to achieve performance targets.
• Maintain a strong focus on people development, continuous performance improvement, and strong teamwork with colleagues.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts towards operational excellence, as measured by on-time delivery, quality, cost, and productivity; meet project timelines, quality, and cost targets for engineering deliverables.
• Align organization’s skills and capacity to meet forecast needs.
• Optimize utilization of resources to meet project and customer needs.
• Implement and utilize design standards to create efficiency, reduce project risk, and achieve cost objectives.
• Establish relationships with key business partners and ensure quality and delivery commitments are met.
• Interface and build relationships with customers, and resolve conflicts as required.
• Establish priorities and assist with technical challenges and removal of barriers to achieve goals.
• Support project and sales requests for reliability and maintainability data; utilize data as the basis for equipment continuous improvement activities.
• Provide front-end proposal and sales teams with expertise on technical and execution feasibility; support with resources as required.
• Develop people to reach their maximum potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues and manage resources to support overall project success in terms of customer satisfaction and profitability.

• BSc in Engineering. MSc in Engineering preferable.
• 12 years progressive experience.
• 4 years in engineering management.
• 4 years development experience in Computer Vision algorithms.
• 4 years of experience managing at least 50 people.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organizational skills.
• Experience in IOS, Android, and Web app development.
• Familiarity with reliability and maintenance methods and with continuous improvement methods.
• Strong industry knowledge within SDK products and/or platform build and systems.
• Strong people skills, including ability to negotiate and to conduct presentations.
• Ability to communicate successfully within all levels of an organization.
