Job Description

Responsible for ensuring regional product development strategies and initiatives are implemented to support the technology roadmap and the Asia business strategy. Candidate is also responsible for:

Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic input and support to commercial teams in relation to product initiatives and projects
  • Delivering key strategic product development projects that supports high business growth
  • Liaising with Global Technology Organization to ensure regional product development projects and strategic goals are met
  • Coordinating local development teams and vendors to ensure key strategic product development projects are delivered
  • Ensuring customer needs and imperatives are in all product decisions
  • Ensuring resources for a technology driven product are aligned to deliver key strategic product development
  • Delivering product development program across all markets using structured project management methodologies including planning and resource allocation
  • Ensuring appropriate level of product management processes and user experience design is applied to product initiatives and projects
  • Governing and managing financial management of product development program including tracking and reporting against business case
  • Managing product initiative costs and product technology costs in budget, reforecast and month end cycles
  • Financial tracking through project lifecycle
  • Monthly financial reporting of all key projects and overall capital and OPEX spend
  • Liaising with Platform Editorial and Go-to-market teams to ensure program is delivered on time and on budget and business goals are met

Requirements:

  • Experienced in working in multi-countries project
  • Excellenct communication skills
  • Degree qualified and project management certified (Prince 2 or equivalent)
  • Minimum 4 of years Project Management experience – plan, execute and finalizing multiple projects
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and resource estimation and allocation as well as people management experience
  • Strong knowledge of local and global LexisNexis products and content preferred
  • Awareness of Customer Centric design processes and user experience methodologies
  • Business Analysis Skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Good relationship building and interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels especially senior members across the region
  • Strong communication skills to all levels
  • Awareness of Analytics
  • Knowledge of User Experience
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills essential
  • Prior editing or writing experiences and knowledge of publishing workflow is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work to meet tight deadlines
