My client, a top tier financial institution, is seeking a senior information risk / governance professional to join their IT governance team. My client has an international culture and is seeking talented individuals to add to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform information risk assessment to identify potential risks and develop mitigating controls
• Monitor compliance of IT operations, provide support for global IT policies & standards build out and reviews.
• Provide advice and counsel to platform executives and senior management to enhance their ability to anticipate, identify, manage, and remediate IT risk effectively
• Coordinate internal and external audits, and regulatory assessments
• Develop technology MIS reporting (e.g. KRI, operational KPI, Control Dashboard)
• Develop relationships and work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders
• Enhance overall IT governance awareness and knowledge of IT staff

Requirements:

• Information Risk management, IT governance, and/or IT audit experience with large-scale financial institutions, experience within investment banks is preferred.
• Possess relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) and / or Post Graduate qualifications
• COBIT and ITIL is an advantage
• Familiarity with Asian regulatory frameworks (e.g. HKMA, Monetary Authority of Singapore, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent written and spoken English, additional language skills are a plus.
