Wendler Interlining is a German company group and the world-leading manufacturer of shirt interlining with establishments and customers all over the world. For their Asian headquarter 'Wendler Interlining Ltd.' in Hong Kong we have been mandated and are now looking for experienced and ambitious candidates to fill up the position as Head of Operations.

This is a newly created central position supporting and regulating our clients fast growing business in Asia. The position is located in Hong Kong and an excellent opportunity for someone who can prosper in a multicultural and global environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform and optimize management systems to balance incoming orders and production capacities, delivery dates within procurement and sales, maintain stock levels
• Supervise the implementation and customizing of our new ERP-System
• Further develop and optimize the internal processes within procurement, logistics and sales
• Analyze the technical and commercial structure of procurement and sales margins, initiate appropriate reaction
• Ensure the compliance with business ethics and the relevant laws
• Be responsible for customer audits at our manufacturing bases in Asia
• Evolve and improve CSR activities in cooperation with our manufacturing bases
• Train subordinates to improve their skills
• Solve problems in the value chain and communicate with the persons involved
• Ensure a smooth daily business

Requirements:

• University degree in business administration / industrial or manufacturing engineering / supply chain management
• About 5 years successful experience in a senior management position
• Interest in technical processes
• Detail orientated and strong analytical skills
• Hands-on mentality
• Empathy and strong implementation skills
• Self-motivated, high awareness of integrity, confidentiality and flexibility
• Well-versed in leading and motivating a team
• Regular travelling to our subsidiaries in Asia
• Intercultural experience
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and ERP software
• Fluency in English, good command of Mandarin
• Interested in a longtime employment
