Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in all marketing promotion and communications activities of the Society;
  • Provide support in the Society events including on-site logistics support and liaise with assigned PR agency on media management;
  • Monitor and co-ordinate with designer on the HKIFF key-art adaptation and other promotional material including but not limited to: print ad, website banner ad, outdoor banners, TV booths and posters;
  • Explore barter deals and media partners;
  • Keep in contact with media partners to ensure all agreed barter deliverables are executed in time;
  • Co-ordinate with printers and production house on the production of marketing collaterals;
  • Monitor inventory of marketing collateral and merchandise;
  • Assist in the PR management for press interviews;
  • Categorize and update the marketing drive material constantly;
  • Handle media enquiries; and
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/ or management from time to time.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Marketing or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or substantial marketing and PR experience with good industry contacts;
  • Experience in marketing events and media relations in entertainment business will be an advantage;
  • Proactive, independent, good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge in Photoshop is a plus
  • Knowledge in social media interface (Facebook, Twitter, Weibo);
  • Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.
