The Job

• Reporting to the Dept. Head and provide accurate and timely information
• Responsible for managing Merchandising functions in a Sourcing office
• Manage product lines from Start to Finish - from Product Development to Bulk Deliveries
• Work closely with different teams including Product Development, Inventory Mgt. team in US Head office
• Liaise with Vendors regularly to better understand current and future requirements in the Supply Chain
• Work closely with Technical and QA team to resolve quality issues and to ensure all commercial decisions and standards are met
• Monitor production process to ensure on-time delivery
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required

The Person

• University graduates with at least 8 years relevant experience in garment manufacturing or merchandising
• Sound WIP and SOP understanding
• Demonstrate good understanding of manufacturing procedures
• Strong Offshore production knowledge as well as Costings abilities
• Positive attitude and pleasant manner, ability to be flexible & adaptive
• Sound technical understanding to ensure effective solutions to handling all situations
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure with tight schedule
• Prior work experience in MNC is a plus
• Proficient in Mircrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Chinese Work Processing, etc)
• Good command of spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Be availabe for business travel
