Responsibilities

• Verify contents of purchase requisition and purchase order
• Follow up order status and update latest order status in SAP to ensure timely and accurate product delivery
• Negotiate with suppliers to get competitive price and source potential suppliers in Hong Kong, China or overseas market
• Supplier evaluation and maintain supplier lists
• Discuss with suppliers to get rebate or upfront programs in line with procurement strategies

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree holder in Purchasing or Business or related disciplines
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Experience in SAP is preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Excellent vendor sourcing, cost negotiation and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure, independently, efficiently and accurately
• Good communication skills and strong problem solving skills
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Procurement Officer-PL04
• Immediately available is highly preferred
