Job Description

• Implementation of the server software and network infrastructure including virtualization technology;
• Setup, installation, configuration, testing, trouble-shooting and fine-tuning of the related components;
• Implementation of system management / monitoring configuration and procedures including backup / restore components;
• Set up compilation of reports and updates of manuals and related documentation;
• Preparation of related specifications;
• Conducting tests; and
• Other duties as assigned

Requirement

• At least 3 years of IT experience including

• at least 2 years of experience in system administration;
• at least 1 year of experience in network administration;
• at least 1 year of experience in implementation and administration of server software and network running on virtualized layer such as VMware or Hyper-V;
• at least 2 years of experience in setup, installation, configuration, administration and support of server software such as Windows Servers operating systems, anti-virus update products, SNMP-based system / network management systems, backup and recovery systems, SAN systems

• 1 year of experience in implementing server hardening procedures is preferred;
• Diploma/degree holder majoring in IT or related disciplines is preferred;
• Good written and oral communication skills, as well as good English writing skills is an advance;
• Possession of the following certifications is preferred:

• MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration;
• MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuration;
• MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure and Configuration certification;
• MCITP: Virtualization Administrator on Windows Server 2008 R2;
• Any VMware VCP certificates
