Role Summary:

The key responsibility of the Business Analyst is to provide the interface between the user and IT in defining and delivering the optimal solutions for work requests and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage the business requirement definition process
• Create, execute, and quality assure system test plans and coordinate user acceptance tests
• Produce business requirement documents and system test plans
• Evaluate alternative high-level IT solutions and make appropriate recommendations
• Manage the prioritization of business requirements
• Carry out walkthroughs with business users and other key stakeholders
• Prepare user training material and carry out user training on system changes or new system implementation
• Work closely with the Project Manager to help define project scope, objectives, key deliverables, etc.
  
  

Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• University graduate in a related discipline
• At least three years relevant experience
• Experienced in business requirement gathering, business process design, IT solution assessment, test cycle management, and user training
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English
• Working experience in the life insurance industry a must
• Knowledge of LIFE/400 or LIFE/ASIA a major advantage
• Experience in working in a cross-country, in-sourced IT environment a plus
