Business restructuring incorporates the rescue, rehabilitation and turnaround of ailing businesses – and also formal insolvencies. We provide advice on the strategic options available to the business and its funders and help the business to recover.
 
Where a business cannot be salvaged, we try to recover as much money as we can for interested parties – such as banks, hedge funds, private equity firms and other creditors.
 
You’ll find yourself in highly pressured situations from the start. You could be managing the affairs of a company with a view to selling it or recovering monies owed as a result of the company failing.
 
This role will involve a wide range of interesting and challenging engagements, often spanning across multiple jurisdictions.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Complete specific tasks as requested in the administration of a restructuring or insolvency matter, including working with books and records, conducting an inventory of assets and dealing with claims of creditors
• Assist in carrying out cash-flow forecasting, financial analysis and financial investigations 
• Conduct research on companies and transactions
  
  
  

Key Requirements:  

• Degree in accounting, business administration or finance;
• Relevant work experience in audit or insolvency;
• Good business sense and commercially aware;
• Highly numerate and analytical;
• CPA or other relevant qualifications (or working towards attaining them);
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/Powerpoint); and
• Excellent communication skills with fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
